Sene and June months are unlike.

Ethiopian and Gregorian calendar months are compared based on the following eight comparable and observable facts. These eight comparable observable facts are • Names of the months , • Order of the month, • Number of days the month has, • The place where the month recur, • Beginning and ending days of each moths, • Number of days of the overlapping months (intersection of the months), • Name of the season during which the month recurs.
The name Sene is different from the name June. Sene is a subset of Ethiopian calendar that has 30 days and the 10th month. But June is a subset of Gregorian calendar that has 30 days and it is the 6th month. Sene reveals 30 faster rotations of the Tropics, whereas, June is 30 slower rotations of the Temperates. Although each of Sene and June has the same number of 30 days, they do not overlap. Therefore, Sene and June are different months, because each month has different beginning and ending days. This means that Sene is 1, when June is 8 and Sene is 30, when July is 7, and June is 30, when Sene is 23 Therefore, only the first 23 days of Sene overlaps with the last 23 days of June. Finally it is useful to know that Sene and June are different months according to which each month recurs during different seasons. Thus the month Sene recurs during the third and fourth quarter season of the north and south Tropics, when June does during the third and fourth quarter season of the north and south Temperates. Therefore; 30 days of Sene recur during Tseday and Kermit of north and Metsew and Bega of south Tropics; when 30 days of April recur during Spring and Summer of north and Autumn and Winter of south Temperates respectively.
